Other interesting Zen Links

The following links display other aspects of Zen beyond the individual dojos with their contact addresses and Zazen times :

•  Do not zzz?
www.do-not-zzz.com — a light hearted, interactive film which gives you an impression, in pictures and sound, of the experience of zazen. Produced by Kodaiji Zen Temple in Kyoto, Japan (may require Micromedia Flash Graphics).
•  Website of Zen Monk Gabor Terebess
www.terebess.hu — a fascinating Hungarian website full of information about Zen: poems, pictures, sewing patterns and construction plans, translations of the most common Sutras in several languages. A Zen labyrinth where it is fun to get lost (in Hungarian and, sometimes, English).
•  Zen Karmics
www.engaged-zen.org — a collection of Manga-style comics about Zen in American prisons. Published by “The Engaged Zen Foundation”, which is involved in the movement to abolish capital punishment in the USA.
•  Exhibition: Kesa — the Cloak of the Buddha
www.musethno.unizh.ch — as part of its “Japan Year 2003” the University of Zurich Ethnographic Museum ran an exhibition about the Kesa (for a short description of the Kesa see our Dojo page). Unfortunately available only in German, it does have detailed photographs of some unusual kesas.

Archive

This website replaces an earlier version which served us well for three years.

The need to extend it and make it more accessible to the disabled were good reasons for a new design.

So as not to forget the hard work invested, we have kept the old website still accessible in the archive.
